Richard Brady

Richard Brady is an active duty Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps.  He is currently assigned to the Program and Budget Analysis Division on the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon.  Prior to this assignment, he held progressive command and staff positions while serving at Camp Pendleton, California, in Okinawa, Japan, and in Washington, DC.  He served in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom, in Indonesia in support of tsunami relief operations, and in the Philippines in support of humanitarian relief operations. 
 
Lieutenant Colonel Brady is the past president and treasurer of the Ravensworth Farm Civic Association in Springfield.  He served as the vice president and treasurer of the Saint Sebastian Parish Council on Okinawa, Japan, and as a volunteer and member of the board of directors of the Monterey Rape Crisis Center in Monterey, California.  He currently serves as a member of the Entity Task Force of the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board.     
 
Lieutenant Colonel Brady received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Saint Louis University and his Masters of Science in Finance from the Naval Postgraduate School.  He holds the Certified Management Accountant, Certified Government Financial Manager, and Certified Defense Financial Manager certifications.

Lieutenant Colonel Brady lives with his wife, Jeanne, and daughter, Katherine, in Springfield.
