Tim Ghazzawi
Tim Ghazzawi is a Junior at the University of Maryland, studying English Language and Literature, and is a Candidate for a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education – English. He intends to become a high school English teacher.
Tim first worked with the Fairfax Library Foundation as one of Exxon Mobil’s Community Summer Jobs Program Interns. Since ending his internship, Tim has since stayed on to continue working with the Fairfax Library Foundation as an independent Media Specialist, writing press releases, thank you and appeal letters, and also creating and updating Foundation pages and blogs on Social Media outlets.
Tim has a strong passion for the educational initiatives the Fairfax Library Foundation supports. Outside of school, Tim spends much of his time working with underprivileged youth in the Prince George’s County area, as well as supporting educational efforts both in the United States and abroad.
