Jasper
Willard O. Jasper retired in 1980 from the Army Medical Service Corps as a Lieutenant Colonel. He represents Lee District, on the Fairfax County Public Library Board of Trustees. Since retiring from the military he has worked with the International Business Service, Inc. as Director of Operations and most recently he served as Vice President and Director of Human Resources with DICHROMA, Inc.
Will earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from West Virginia State University and received his Master of Science Degree in Management Information Systems from The American University in Washington, DC.
Will has a real passion for Fairfax County and its citizens. His commitment to public service is evident by the numerous organizations with which he has served. He is the President of the Northern Virginia Urban League Guild; a Commissioner for the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority; the founder of Project MANHOOD, which is a group of adults who mentor young boys between the ages 7 and 17; a Deacon at the Alfred Street Baptist Church in Alexandria; a member of the West Virginia State University ROTC Hall of Fame; a member of the Board of Trustees for New Hope Housing; a former member of the Trustee Assembly of the United Way of the National Capital Area; former member of the Executive Committee for Fairfax County United Way; former Vice President, Route One Corridor Housing, Inc.; a former member of Big Brothers of the National Capital Area; and is Chaplin Emeritus for the Third District of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
Will has been married for 43 years to his wife Darhyl and they have one daughter and two grandchildren.
