National Book Award Winners Announced
The National Book Foundation named the 2011 National Book Award winners on November 16th at their 62nd annual dinner and ceremony in New York City. For those who could not attend in person, the entire event was webcast via Twitter and Facebook to almost 180,000 fans and followers.

A big “Thank you!” to everyone for making the Library Jubilee a great success! Over 120 did Let Loose in the Library, bidding at the live auction and on over 60 silent auction items. Over $80,000 for unfunded programs & services!!
You can see the Let Loose in the Library segment on Channel 16 in Fairfax County on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings at 7:30 p.m., and on Thursdays at 7 p.m.
