Library Jubilee!

Jubilee, Saturday October 18 from 5 to 8:30 p.m.Join us at the City of Fairfax Regional Library to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Fairfax County Public Library AND the Library Foundation’s 20th Anniversary.  Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, refreshments, music, and exciting live and silent auctions!

The Foundation’s goal for its sixth annual A Library Jubilee! is to raise $175,000 for Fairfax County Public Library! Thank you to our lead sponsors to date, A.J. Dwoskin & Associates, ExxonMobil, and the Burke Rotary Foundation, plus the Friends Groups of the Burke Centre Library, the Kings Park Library, the George Mason Regional Library, the Oakton Library, and the Pohick Regional Library.

Library Foundation Scholarship Program

The Fairfax Library Foundation established a Scholarship Program to award three different scholarships to enhance the skills and talents of current or future library staff and volunteers in Fairfax County and the City of Fairfax, subsequently enhancing the level of service the library can provide.

Programs We Support

In addition to reinforcing the need for continued and increased public support, the mission of the Fairfax Library Foundation includes serving as a catalyst for attracting private funding from individuals, businesses, organizations and foundations to enhance library services.
