Fairfax,
VA – On Wednesday, November 18th, MS Grand, Inc., a Korean-owned international market, donated $1,500 to the Fairfax County Public Library Foundation, Inc. as part of the grand opening celebration of the Grand Village store, located on Westfields Boulevard in Chantilly.
Pat White-Williams, acting branch manager of the Centreville Regional Library, and Roberta Longworth, executive director of the Fairfax Library Foundation, accepted the donation from the store manager, Jim Burgess.
“The Centreville Regional Library branch staff will utilize the donation for the purchase of early reading materials,” explained White-Williams. “On behalf of the Fairfax County Public Library system, we are greatly appreciative of this gift.”
“Grand Mart continues to be exceptionally supportive of our community, having contributed $16,500 to benefit our library system to commemorate store openings and anniversaries,” says Longworth. “Grand Mart sets a wonderful example for other businesses that might consider marking their success with such acts of generosity.”
