Misako Rocked!

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA — Fairfax Library Foundation was excited to sponsor an appearance by manga comic artist Misako Rocks on Saturday, October 11, as part of the annual Fall for the Book festival.

The artist performed a free, live workshop for children aged 7 to 12 on the City of Fairfax Fall Festival’s children's stage. Attendees learned, step by step, how to draw in manga and anime styles.

Fairfax Library Foundation is a longtime sponsor of Fall for the Book, now in its 26th year.

Since 1994, the Fairfax Library Foundation has existed solely with the mission to enhance the programs and services of the Fairfax County Public Library, the largest public library system in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
